They may look the same. look under the battery. check the model numbers. Cable & Wireless;Jamaica GSM 1900 DIGICEL;Jamaica GSM 900/1800/1900 The 1108 is a Duel band phone. Either 850/1900 or 900/1800. I think the 1108b may be 850/1900. Check the manual. Type in *#0000# and tell us what you see.
OK, I think that is the 1108b working on 850/1900. Once unlocked, it should work with Digicel in Jamaica although I have to wonder how well. It will still work with C&W. Just put in a new SIM. It will work in the US and other Islands. Now we have the required info to help. You know the risks? You have only five tries and then you will need a cable hook-up to unlock. I think it would be better for someone with the experience helps you. If no one responds I will try. He said he wants it on Cable & wireless but if it can't digicel will do thats alot again for your help.
