Nokia 1600 Locked in Australia

    Hello All,
    I have a Nokia 1600 locked to Vodafone, never been used. I would like to try to unlock it. Here are the details
    Make/model phone: Nokia 1600
    IMEI #: 359378/00/97862/9
    Country the phone is locked in: Australia
    Provider the phone is locked to: Vodafone.

    you need to check your IMEI, you only have 14 digits should be 15

    you area correct, the correct IMEI number is:
    359378/00/978692/9

    etowah could you please generate an unlocking code for my fone, its a nokia 7360, iv already started a new thread!

    Unless etowah knows how to unlock a 1600 from Australia which I doubt.

    Your only option is to take it to a pro / shop for direct unlocking.

    Australian mobiles are very difficult to do.
