We do not do Tracfone or Net10 phones.
I think unlocking Tracfones (Net10) will do you no good. You will not be able to use another carrier's SIM card in the phone. The best way is to get it reflashed/unlocked (Re-programed) so that you can use the T-Mobile or Cingular SIM cards in them. Once you get them reflashed, you will NOT be able to use the Tracfone SIM card in it.

    Tracfone's Airtank firmeware. (Program)
The use of minutes is calculated in the phone and not on the network.
If you unlock it and try to use a new SIM, it will only allow you to use the minutes left within the phone's memory. When the phone's internal credit is used up, the phone will not work even if your new SIM account has minutes left.
The only way to use your new account (SIM) is to re-program the phone. (FLASH it)
After that, the phone will not work with TracFone because it will not be able to top-up the internal account.
It will work on other Networks that use the same Band.
I do not consider that cost effective.

Net10 is a Tracfone Company and I believe that they work the same.

    Fix it here:

I have no financial affiliation with the above Site. I only believe they can answer your questions.
