Hi folks hopefully someone can shed some light on my phone problem.I have recently purchased a used phone from a seller on flea-bay. I came to find the phone says insert sim card when i power it up. I insert my good working sim card from my network and it says "phone restricted" with a flashing stop sign and undo on the bottom. When i put in the code the seller gave me to unlock it from the carrier he had it with and hit ok it says Phone Restricted with a flashing stop sign.
I have a feeling the phone has been hard locked ,can someone please tell me if this sounds like the case or am i doing something wrong.
    --IMEI:356660/00/705923/2
    --Model 3220b
    --T-mobile
--The code i was given and tried is 424847353664026
If your answer happens to be it is hard locked can someone tell me how i can salvage this phone.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer
    Gerald

I have entered the code you offered just as follows #pw+832 891 056 073 573+7# and it says Phone Restricted. It was used with T-Mobile in the US. I am trying to get the thing working with my provider (Rogers) here in Canada.

    Sorry to hear that.
    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
    "Error code" wrong code.

"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's
hard-locked. Used up all your free tries!!
Some phones stop giving "Error Code" and just say "Phone Restricted."
Someone has entered too many wrong codes before you
came to us. You only get 3 to 5 tries.
If you enter the same code two times, that is two tries.
    Your phone is hard-locked.
You will need to take it to a phone shop that has the
    equipment to unlock it.
It will still work on the original Network, T-Mobile USA.

One solution is to mail it to an unlocker. There are many on the Web.

    ForCanadian residents:

    For US residents:

I have no financial affiliation with this Site. I am
acquainted with it and the work they do there.

    There are many many more.
