NOKIA 5300 Unlocked still no network Coverage

    I bought T-Mobile in Chicago USA , but now I want to use my mobile in INDIA.I had called the T-Mobile customer care today. They gave me the unlock code for my mobile nokia 5300.I entered the unlock code and it said " sim was not restricted " instead of "sim 'is' not restricted".
    Does this mean that my mobile was already unlocked. I remember I tried it once in USA also after asking T-Mobile customer care, but still it is showing no network coverage??
    Please suggest what shall I do so that I get network coverage in INDIA.Is there any setting changes I need to do in my mobile??

    Your phone-GSM 900/1800/1900,must work in India.Try other sim.

    ried with other sim also but still no network coverage?? do I need to change some settings of my mobile?? how r u so sure that it should work with other sims??

    I think,all must be automatically.What the sim do you try?

    I tried two different BSNL sim. Do I have to ask BSNL also to allow network coverage?? Please help .I am looking for a solution for last 1 month.

    BSNL-900,must work.Try to ask BSNL,whats problem.

    i badly need ur help . i asking bsnl if they can help me in this.plz suggest anything you feel can help me.

    Only BSNL can help you,not me.And verify-all is OK with your pnone.See also settings.

    I have talked to BSNL customer care. they say they cant do anything to help in this. they asked me to contact nokia service center for this.
