    Dear friends,

I'm a newbie in this forum: hello everybody!

I own a 6030 and I see sellers offering data cable for it.
It means a trick shoud exist to enable the feature (not officially supported by 60300).
    Can you help me?

    Many thanks.

    Hi Pazzini,

I'd like to manage the phone book (rubrica) from PC (my primary need), and (secondary) transfer new ring tones from PC.

    Many thanks for your help.

You need to find somewhere that sells the Nokia 6030 USB Data Cable - 6030 Data Lead, it should come with it's own software to allow you to do what you require.

As far as I know the Nokia PC suite does not support the 6030 (not 100% certain), it is something you will need to look into.

    This is my problem.

So far, I've found only who sells the cable for 6030, but I cannot find the sw tools for enabling the data transfer feature in the firmware of the 6030. Then, I hope that the normal Nokia application can operate from PC.
    Any hint?

    Thanks.

If the software does not come with the cable then there is no way to get hold of it.

The 6030 is not well connected and you are better of getting a new mobile as no cables that I know of support the 6030 like the DKU-2 & 5 and the CA-53.
