You guys must be sick of stupid questions but would appreciate the help if possible,trying to flash my dbox2, but cannot connect, the ip of the box is 192.168.0.100 so set the pc to 192.168.0.101 Is this correct, am using acrossovercable,should I also use a null cable, also using flashfxp but again connection error.Would I be better of using Dbox command centre? I am in the Cork area and with chorus, will try commando 6 anyone get this working with chorus, lot of questions there,so any help welcome.
Set the Dbox DEFAULT GATEWAY to 192.168.0.101 and make sure network is on and set to start on boot, and save settings.
The gateway IP doesn't matter. The gateway is the device which route to the outer world. It looks like userid and/or password is wrong or wrong target folder at the box.
