hi my nephews xbox is crapping out on him i haven't taken a look at it yet (so not sure if it's the hd or the actually system, the xbox is very old had it and used it a lot) he had it softmodded a little while back (the softmodded hd is only say a year old) , now whenever he turns it on he get some error message, not sure what it says something just a please service something like that, and he can't use the system at all 2 part question have any of you had the same error and were able to fix with ease? and second... not knowing too much about the xbox is it possible just to swtich the modded hd into a new xbox without any problems? again i don't really know anything about the xbox, other than to play games really just want to help out the little wanker is all thanks for any comments i may receive, even if just making fun of my noobness
its ok that ur a nub evyrone was one at one time. well does he get an error code because thats important if u have an error code you can determine whats wrong and find ways to fix it.
The error screen will have a number in the top left. When you get that number, read my tutorials to show you how to repair it!
