noob...never burned games before

    how do you rip games? what kind of programs do you need?

    use CRAXTION 4. U still need to ftp the xbox. Plz check the stickies

    I use an ftp program such as filezilla or smart FTP and then an xiso maker and then i burn using imgburn
    ps all are freeware just google an xiso maker

    Any ftp program.. I like ws_ftp-pro on windows.. very easy to set up, cute ftp works well too, or if you are patient you can use windows explorer..

    Then for new first timers I suggest using CloneXB to make the xiso..

    People always say craxtion.. (not scene release people.. we used clonexb or occasionally qwix) but it's way to complicated and ALWAYS makes iffy xisos and glitchy/crashy backups until you get really good with it.. leave it to the homebrew makers and use the good foolproof application..

    Burn your xiso with just about any iso burning program.. nero/alcohol/decrypter/imgburn.. not above 4x, and use reasonable quality 8x dvd-r The secret for reliable disks is ritek-g05 dye, regardless of brand.. xbox drives seem to like it.
