    hello,

my son has a v9 PS2 and i m looking into backing up games, and possibly using a hdd aswell.

for backing up games, i think i'll use swap magic 3.8 and a flip top case. (using dvd decrypter to make copies)

as for using a hdd, i m lost there. from reading things here and there, i think i can use a ps2 network adapter and put a comp harddrive in the sapce in the back of the ps2 ???? is that correct ??

what program should i use to put games onto the hdd, and what program to use to run games off the hdd in the ps2 ???

    any help would b great.

    thanks

you sound like you have done some good research.
Yes a fliptop and Swap Magic will work. Other option is having a good modchip installed.
And make sure you check this list before you buy a hard drive, most PC style IDE hard drives will work, no SATA.

that page also has install tips at the top that will show you the install.

Use HD Advance 3.0 to run and install games. It is another set of discs you can buy, most likely a store that sells Swap Magic would also have it.
