Poolplaya there is a help page on the link you gave, plus there are loads of tutorials on how to conect to the internet or play online with your PS3 on Afterdawn.

I found this on the site you gave.

Can I use now for interactive gaming?

The now network has been designed to ensure that, for the majority of applications including many online games, the average packet latency will result in a high quality user experience. However, some high speed online games require very low packet latency times (less than 100ms) to be fully responsive. For these games your now wireless broadband service may be unsuitable as packet latency to and from the games server could be too high.

Maybe this means that your Broadband is not sutable at the moment to play online.
