I am trying to copy a game on to CD for a m8. I'm a first timer and thought that copying a image of the original disk might work. But how do extract the nrg to another CD?

I'm I going about thsi the wrong way?

any advice...even if its only to tell me "DOH!"... would be welcome...:)

Not quite sure if you have the NRG, if you want to make an NRG or what.

an NRG file is an image file for NERO --- Download ULTRAISO free trial and use it to make an nrg file from the CD you have so you can burn it with NERO on a new CD.

Or better yet .. just use CLONECD to make a copy of the disk you have.
Best you make yourself clear when you start a thread ... Smiles.

    Thanks for replying.

I've just downloaded the CloneCD software and will see how it goes.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear, fortunately you did. Thanks for the tip. Much appreciated.

NRG is Nero's implementation of an ISO cd ... neither of which is horribly useful when burning games due to the lack of support for copy-protection :)
