    My PS2 is universial and I plug it into my PC monitor.

    When it plays NTSC games it is fine but when it plays PAL games it is stable but black/white (or the colors are separates, etc)

    So do I need a
    PAL -> NTSC adaptor or
    NTSC -> PAL adaptor?

    Cheers

    it depends on what the screen you are running it on is.
    If it is an NTSC then you need to go PAL To NTSC
    If it is PAL then just the opposite.
    but if it play NTSC fine then i would say PAL to NTSC

    My monitor also displays PAL games fine when I am using a PAL machine, but I guess it is PAL -> NTSC.
