I have a NTSC(Japan) set installed with WiiKey.

I have personally tried, and cannot play these games on my Japan set
    1) Legend of Zelda
    2) WarioWare Smooth Moves
    3) Spiderman 3
    4) Cooking Mama Cook Off
    5) Excite Truck

From my understanding through this site,

    http://wiki.gbatemp.net/index.php/Wii_Region_Free_Patcher_Compatibility_List

There are some games cannot be played even with Wiikey's Region Override code on.

My question here is, if I trade in my Japan set for a USA set, will I be able to play the above games, but be unable to play some Japan games?

If that is so, I would rather trade in to play these English games cause they have a better selection of games.

Can someone kindly confirm my assumption?

    Hello,

I have an NTSC (USA) Wii with a Wiikey installed.

I have all the games you mention and they all work fine.
However, you won't be able to play some (JAP) Wii and GC games on your (USA) Wii. One famous game you won't be able to play is "Naruto."

It has to do with an "Audio Fix" and as if I undrestand correctly you won't be able to play it with the current "Drive modchips" such as Wiikey.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers.
