Hello there need help. installed a new graphic card, a nvidia geforce 6800GT. when i first installed it.It showed the display as my monitor which is a DAEWOO.. now when i ve been checking stuff it says ANALOGUE display.. why is it saying ANALOGUE now instead of DAEWOO Please any help much appreciated.. Thanks mark
If I am reading you correctly (one can only hope), what you are saying is: 1. The make of your monitor is Daewoo which was displayed. 2. But now the screen displays Analogue, correct? Analogue is the monitor signal; it has nothing to do with the make of your monitor.
Hi yes your correct, its the way i worded it. But when installed it it said daewoo now analogue,is that ok. Having no problems with it but wondering why its done that.. Many thanks
Dont worry about it its what your Graphics card is detecting it as if it works let it be be happy it saying Daewoo instead of analogue wont do anything if it already works.
What dazilla said. if you are having no graphics issues, everything is running fine, then your monitor/PC is working fine. My monotor is a Viewsonic VX724, but the signal I get on my screen is digital. That's because my monitor runs through a digital signal.
Thanks all, just wondering why it said daewoo for a couple of days then now analogue... anyway cheers
If you want an answer then. its because your old graphics card detected its name but the 6800 only detect if the monitor is Analogue or Digital so it said Analogue because your monitor plugs in via the Blue Cord if it ran through the White wide one then it would say Digital. Did it answer you question?
