Driver guide toolkit gave me this info:

Nvidia geforce 6600 version 8.4.2.1

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

My integrated VIA/S3G is already disabled.

 

can someone help me with the steps that should be taken

 

i have no idea what the driver guide toolkit is.


if your onboard graphics card is disabled are you getting a picture from your 6600? is that were you monitor plugs into?

just a guess.

have you installed the drivers from nvidia for you 6600?
