There is no way to tell what CFW is on your drive unless you connect it to your PC using whatever method and then run jungleflasher.

As long as you have your OFW, you can spoof that into any CFW you want if you wanted to reflash yourself.

I was told you only need the OFW/Dummy for the xk3y. If so, you already have it on the CD-R, and in case it's just a Dummy, then:

Download the latest iXtreme firmware pack which includes the stock firmware.
    Download Jungle Flasher v0.1.92

In Jungle Flasher, on the "Firmware Tool 32" tab:

    1. Click "Open Target Firmware" button.

    2. Browse to the Stock Firmware for YOUR drive model and load it.

    3. Click "Open Source Firmware" button.

    4. Browse to the OFW or Dummy.bin on the your CD-R and load it.

    5. Click "Yes" in the box that pops up, to auto-load the firmware.
--- If no box pops up, simply click the "Spoof to Target" button.

    6. Make sure the numbers in both DVD Key windows match.

    7. Click the "Save to File" button, and name it something you can easily identify it by, such as "busabillOFW.bin" and email it to yourself so you'll always have it.

    8. Make a copy of it and rename the copy to "firmware.bin" for your xk3y.
