I have been using my burner now (lite-on) for a few months and have had nothing but success since the get go. In that month I was using 2 x media, then I bought some memorex 4x dvd-r s. Now it takes for ever to burn a dvd, regaudless if its a 2x or 4x. Im using ISO shrink, to dvd shrink, to dvd ecryptor. Whats also odd is that the encrypter is telling me my 2x media is only 1x, but i take it to my neighbors house and his reads it as 1x,2x. has anyone else had a problem switching to 4x media, and how did you fix it?
I had a similar prob switching to 4x media with my sony burner and a firmware update fixed it for me.
