this isnt so much a post for playstation 2, but for all consoles that can support online gaming. If you do chose to have an online connection on all 3 of ure consoles(GC PS2 XBOX) will u need 3 seperate connections, or is there one glorious connection that can support online gaming for all???

    as far as i know..

whatever console u have, first of all u need

    broadband connection primarily

for ps2, ur gonna need to buy a ps2 network

adapter. but the online gaming is free.

for xbox, i think the network adapter is

included in the box but ur gonna have to pay

for playing online. i have no knowledge about

    gamecube.

if you get a 4 port router you can just connect each console to a seperate port and set them up.

You can also get a wireless router that will split your internet connection and you can have your systems in different rooms

how would a wireless router work? The network adapter for ps2 is wired and the xbox is also wired, not sure about gamecube but I'm sure it's wired as well. So, I don't think wireless will work.

you still need the network adapter.its basically if your pc is in another room and you dont have long wires.I heard it can only go up to 15 feet though.and its 100 bucks so,i dont know.
