thanks ddp that solves my problem ddp will i see a difference from a regular 2.0 ghz to a duo core cpu the one i listed that ide card is quite cheap http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1070704&CatId=508 also on first hard drive there is windows xp / on second there is vista. is there a way i can get both of these to run like they are now ? i know xp records your hardware . just wondering is there a way to get these hard drives to fire with new board like they are now.
if new board had same chipset manufacturer than might have got away without reloading xp & vista but as is different than you are sol.
thanks again ddp . well i guess ill just have to do a fresh install of xp and vista. by upgrading to a dual core cpu will i see a difference? like when running Nero pc slows down alot.. and then ie goes slow . i thought this dual core will do the trick for multi tasking ? or am i kiding myself//////////// some say there is no difference with these dual core cpus
