I have a new stand alone Optiarc USB DVD RW (sold under the Kanguru Quicksilver brand) that comes up with copy protection errors. My burner in my laptop sails right past this with Shrink but this burner balks as soon as I put in a disk to copy ... is there a work around for this? It burns discs no problem, lightning quick as a matter of fact but it is irritating to get that error when my older DVD RW handles the discs just fine Thanks

The Optiarc is a USB external --- but it only balked on the one disk,, it has been VERY co-operative on the rest -- guess it got nervous I was going to pull in the big guns (After Dawn) Ha! By the way, it is blazing fast ---- burns a disk in 7 minutes flat! Holy cow! Burning a disk from encoding to finished product in under 20 minutes - wheee! (I use Shrink and Decrypter)
