Optorite Power Calibration Error

    Hey all I have an optorite DVD+RW burner(model DD0201) and lately i get a power calibration error every time I try to burn an ISO file. My firmware is 2.6 I've burned successfully before with firmware 2.6 so it cant be that.Is my burner BURNT OUT? or whats the deal? The drive can read and play dvd's, cd's, etc. but the drive just wont burn dvd's Please help me ASAP . Post a reply here or IM me on AIM: dmbgreystreet04 Thanks all

    I think your burner is dying assuming you've been using the same media. I started getting that on my NEC 1100a. It helped when I burned at slower speeds and also if I burned DVDs as soon as I powered up the PC before it got hot. You could also try top grade media and see if it will help.
