i ordered the v10 ps2 from xmodd & received the v9, should i be concerned? whats the diff in the v10 & v9. this is the link to where i found this out.
    http://www.modchip.com/ps2/ps2id.htm
mine has the 3b date code & also the version info. is as follows
    console scph-50001
    browser 1.40
    cd player 2.00
    playStation driver 3.00U
    so can i be confirmed that this is a v9 & not a v10?
what would you all do contact xmodd & get the v10 or keep the one i have? ive played 3 backed up games on it with no prob.
it just dont seem wright for me to pay $275.00 with shipping for an old ps2. is that the way the versions work the newer the version the newer the ps2 ? how can i tell when this ps2 was made?
please let me if i should keep it or send it back.
    also pros & cons v9 vs v10

there is pretty much no difference between v9 and v10, i wouldn't worry about it.
