Hey all, I have been looking for an anwser for this all day and no luck so far. I have a 3.4U Wii that I have softmod to play backups. That part has been working fine. Today I got a hair up my ass to play Mario from my childhood. I went to the Shopping channel on my Wii to purchase it and the Wii kept kicking me out and back to the main channel screen. So I figured I would look around here for an emulator or something to dl and add to my homebrew channel. I couldn't find anything here, so I loaded the homebrew channel to see if there was an option there. When I loaded the homebrew channel, my screen was upside down. So I went through and deleted the homebrew channel as well as the Neo Gamma channel I had. I have reset my Wii while holding the reset button and it goes to the normal Wii boot up, no pri loader installed. My shopping channel still doesn't load and now I'm stuck on what to do. Should I redo the softmod from scratch? Should I update from Nintendo through my Wii so my shopping channel will work? I want to be able to play my backed up games that I have, as well as some of the old classics (Contra, Tyson, SMB 1-3). Is there an emulator that I can dl and use with the homebrew channel? Thanks for the help in advance.

HBC will flip upside down if you patch the IOS it uses. It kind of sounds like you updated your Wii. Are you sure you're still on 3.4? The removal of Priiloader sounds like the effects of an update. If you have updated to 4.3 the softmod process is a little tricky. You can use ModMii to remod your Wii, but you'll need a copy of Super Smash Bros, or Lego Indiana Jones, there a few games you can use. If you have updated, deleting the HBC was probably the dumbest thing you could have done, its going to make the modding process a lot more difficult. Do you have any wads still installed? You can replace the .dol that wad uses to boot the hackmii installer.

As for emulators, they're everywhere. Search google for Snes9xGx, or FCEUGX. You can also install them through the homebrew browser, which is very easy.
