hey everyone, im new to xbox modding and hoped someone could give a general overview of how to go about making xbox game backup copies. i did the necessary work before posting...search and reading threads, but everything is alittle complex for me. so i was hoping for a general overview, so i can search each area one at a time. thanks for any help.
1. Find programs such as Quix or Craxtion to make Xbox ISO game files. Stay away from xISO if you should read about it somewhere. 2. Create a folder on your PC and then FTP the backup game from your xbox that you want copied. Most people prefer FlashFXP. 3. Using Quix or Craxtion create an ISO of the xbox game folder on your PC. 4. Using Nero Ultra 6, burn the ISO image file to a blank DVD-R. Use the Open-.ngr,iso,bin option and don't use NEW and don't drag and drop files. 5. Burn to a DVD-R at the slowest speed your drive allows 1x,2x or 4x 6. If the backup does not work it could be the type of media you're using. Try a different brand.
