My brother ordered himself some new comp parts and wants me to put them together. His motherboard did not come with that plastic piece that surrounds the processor where the heasink/fan snaps onto. I cant really explain it much better than its a plastic rectangular piece surrounding the processor with some tabs on it that the mounting bracket for fan to snap onto. Where can I obtain one of these things? Its an Intel D845GRG MB.

It isnt missing it, just it uses a differnt Fan, one that clips on either side of the socket like most older CPU's use.

Yeppers. That looks very similiar to the MB I'm lookin at. The fan holder should secure itself in those holes. Just dont know where to get one.
