I want to add some USB capability to my nephew's PC. I have a motherboard with pins on it marked as USB1 and USB2. Before I found these I bought a PCI USB Controller card. When I install this card, the PC will not start. What do I need to do to get the card to work - OR - how do I make use of the pins already on the motherboard?

    Hey

You can buy USB Ports which plug directly onto the motherboard, which is your best bet.

Some older computers dont like PCI USB Cards.

Have you tried putting the card in a differnt PCI Slot.

I have found a back panel with 2 x USB ports on it and plugged directly onto the Motherboard. Works great.
    Thanks for the suggestions.
