Paper labels on DVD+rs

    is using a paper label on a DVD+R bad?

    Yes they may work but as they get older you will have problems.

    well its just that i've been having trouble with buring dvds and i thought it could contribute.

    Paper contracts and expands with humidity, and this movement pulls the disc out of the tolerance for flatness. There are polyester DVD labels that work, but paper labels are only good if they never cover more than a third of the disc.
