Passworded rar file need help opening it, any ideas??

    well i had came across a rar file that had some old skool snes games 765 to be exact. toke some time to dl and when i finaly got it...it was passworded ;-| as mad as i was to have wasted my bandwith i was woundering if there was a way tp force open the rar file with out the password or a while to trick it ?? thanx in advance would love to play this snes imulater

    You need that password. If there was a way to "force open" RAR passwords, what would be the point of them?

    There are "RAR password cracker" programs out there, they don't work.

    You could try Bruteforcing it, but that could takes days or even months.

    Most download sites will provide a specific password for the file if not then a possibility of all the possible passwords for you to try. If not then most people post a comment with the password for you :)

    Ask here in the "after-download support": http://www.lickmytaint.com/forum/default.asp It loads pretty slowly and you have to register but they always seem to find the proper password. They also have some password lists that sites use and perpetualnight is another in case it's theirs.
