Does anyone know what the license is with the Patin-Couffin access layer that's available on AfterDawn?

    Hi,

Patin-Couffin is simply a small driver layer that some apps use in order operate :)

Check out this link, it's about 1/2 way down the page, DVD43 and the Patin-Cauffin driver.

    http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/

    Be VERY, VERY CAREFULL -

There's another DVD43 that doesn't need a Patin-Cauffin driver but it is not, I say it's NOT free. it has a 30-day trial then it's $20.00. It is also very hard to get rid of. Every time you boot up your PC it "POPs" up a "buy me" sign. Best not to ever start with it -

    Cheers,
