Firstly, I apologise for being a NOOB at this, but hey, we all start somewhere. After downloading an AVI movie, I play it back on my PC and it plays fine. Then I use Nero to convert it and burn back to DVD. When I play it back through my DVD rom, or in my stand-alone DVD player, the film plays fine except for a very slight pause every couple of seconds, like the film is about to freeze, but plays all the way through to the end. The film is watchable, but when you know its there, its like youre waiting for it to happen again, and again, a bit like a dripping tap !! Is it Nero, or something else? Any help is appreciated.
sounds like its a bad quality avi.apparently burning at high speeds can increase the risk of errors.also could be poor quality blanks that you're burning it on to.i use dvdflick to convert avi's to dvds.not a fan of nero.
