PC creative audigy Zs 2 sound card

    i am still having problems gettin the digital output to sound to come through my Denon 1385 receiver,
    what am i doing wrong people. I am using the mini plug out to coaxial input to the receiver, but nothing.

    aaaaaarrrrrr
    help!

    You should just connect straight from coax to coax, there should be no conversion. What is the "mini plug" out to coax you are talking about?

    Once it is hooked up correctly, goto control panel>device control>SPDIF tab>Set to 48Khz>Dcoder tab>set to SPDIF Passthrough.

    All should work fine given your denon reciever has DD/dts decoder. You will not get surround sound on stereo files so make sure the source you are playing back is a 5.1 file.

    what i mean by mini plug or mini-jack is the type and size Soundblaster sound card uses. Perhaps its the wrong description.
