Ok, I looked at your log and have found a couple of nasty things, and some not as serious things. Here are the nasty things:

    O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: @xpsp3res.dll,-20001 - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing)

    O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing)

    O16 - DPF: {C4925E65-7A1E-11D2-8BB4-00A0C9CC72C3} (Virtools WebPlayer Class) - http://a532.g.akamai.net/f/532/6712/4h/p...0/Installer.exe

    O16 - DPF: {DB0474CC-8EF6-47FC-905B-23FC58A70817} (RegPropsCtrl Class) - https://download.verizon.net/sfp/Cabs/hst/webinstall/HstWebInstall.cab

    -----------------------

Some things that I have found, but dont recignize are these. i think you should have a look at them and see which ones are you dont know and do know. Put a check next to the things you dont know, but dont forget to make a backup, just in case! here they are:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\ps2.exe

    O16 - DPF: {3E68E405-C6DE-49FF-83AE-41EE9F4C36CE} -

    O16 - DPF: {4A3CF76B-EC7A-405D-A67D-8DC6B52AB35B} -

    O16 - DPF: {63B3EC14-9F70-4129-B935-46EFB37013E8} (HPStamper Class) -

    O16 - DPF: {D06A22B4-6087-4D3D-B7AF-82B113E9ABD4} -

    O16 - DPF: {EF0DBA6F-43CE-4B26-9808-2AB38FA0DB29} -

Check if you know these sites (all of the 016) and fix them if you do not.Unknown ActiveX-Objects, or ActiveX-Objects from unknown sites should always be fixed.

Ok, thats all that i found. Post back if you have any more problems or questions!
