I have an older Dell Dimension computer that does not have SATA ports on the motherboard so I was looking into getting a PCI card so that I can flash my Xbox 360. I know that some chipsets don't work so I just want to know if anyone has a specific card that they have flashed their drive with or know of ones that are compatible. I don't have access to a newer PC so this is my only option. Just want to know of a card that works for flashing. Thanks!

I found out that I have the Toshiba-Samsung drive and I was wondering if that card is compatible with this drive?

you can use a small flathead screwdriver if you have one, like a watchmakers one, or something like a tooth pick, it just has to fit in the holes and then you can un pop the clips 1 by 1

    Alright thanks sounds easy enough.
I also have one more question.
Can someone point me in the direction of the newest tutorial for flashing as all the ones i come across seem to be outdated. And I see there are like auto flashers or w/e and i'm just confused.

it doesnt matter if its outdated, PS2's guide is one of the easiest to follow :) no need for auto flashers, follow his mtkflash command one.

The front of the card will have a chip that will tell you under the word via....if you have already installed go to device manager and look under scsi devices and raid controllers and it should tell you the chipset

if its the one they have for like 13 or 14 dollars plus shipping than it will work....thats the exact on i have. The good thing about the non raid version is that it can flash the hitachi's too. I had the raid version and switched to this one because i was tired of having 2 different cables hanging out of the back of my pc
