I my video, all but one VOB has AC3 audio. that one VOB has PCM (Wav) audio. When I double click on any VOB (when it is on my hard drive), PowerDVD plays the VOB and its audio well.

The problem arises when I combine the files (using Ifoedit 9.4) and burn it onto a DVD. The entire video portion with the AC3 audio plays well – but when it gets to the part where the VOB contains PCM audio – the audio stops – only to start again when it passes this VOB.

What do I have to edit in the IFO or VOB file to allow both audio formats to play on a single DVD?

    Thanks,
    Ken

Addemdum to the above message - I found a proram called BeSweet which Encodes a WAV (PCM) file to AC3 (Dolby). It works beautifully - my "hat's off" to its creator.

After encoding, I just author the M2V and AC3 file using Spruceup.
