    PDA advantages and disadvantages:
+You can surf the internet with pictures.
-You can't talk like you would on a regular phone. (Some PDAs do allow this, though, such as the IPaq)
+Camera, and maybe recording of videos.
+You can insert memory chips with data so you can tranfer it to and from your PDA.
-You have to pay for phone service and IM service. (If the PDA supports it, and sometimes you don't)
    +Touch screen support.
-Rough setup screens. (Or that's just me)
    +Can play music.
+You can run it like a computer, with programs to make you feel like you're right at home using your computer.

    Phone advantages and disadvantages:
    +Bluetooth support. (If supported)
-You have to pay for service.
+Slimer design than a PDA. (Depends, really)
-You can search the internet, but it doesn't really show pictures or like a regular website, just plain text.
    +Camera and video recording.
    +Usually cheaper than a PDA.
-Sometimes can become useless if there's no service.
-Can't play music, only ringtones. (Unless it's a LG Chocolate phone, or any phone that supports it)
-/+A lot of services to choose from, with alot of advantages and disadvantages, but sometimes can get annoying when choosing.
That's about all I can name.

All in all, I'd recommend you go with a PDA, but it's really your choice, not ours.
