    PDR stands for protected disc recorder. It lets you burn DVDs,CDs, and Blu Ray discs with a special thing that makes the PS2 thing they are legal discs, so it would direct boot them.

    one more question, do u know where i can download it from? i looked for hours and can't find it!?!?!

    its an actual drive, so i dont think you could download it.
    the question is, why can't we modify existing software to do the same thing!?

    I needed to pay 95 bucks to get my PS2 hardmodded :p So don't cry.

    why? not comfortable with a soldering iron? i know its pretty tough, considering i dont have steady hands myself. but it's a heck of a lot of fun, and the finished product, well, theres nothin like knowing that you did something like that, and it worked. ;]=

    No. I just don't want to open my PS2 and getting in danger of bricking it.
