Does Peerguardian offer the same protection for torrent downloaders?

If not, is there something else that could be used?

PeerGuardian 2 is out, and is much better than PG. It offers protection for all things when you turn it on. =D Just turn it off when you're surfing the web!

    "PeerGuardian 2 is out"
I realise, which is why I have asked:
"Does Peerguardian offer the same protection for torrent downloaders?"
... because I am interested in it's latest version and if that will help me with torrents.

"It offers protection for all things when you turn it on"
Well that's good, but does it specifically handle torrents or is "all things" a "maybe", in answering my question?

"Just turn it off when you're surfing the web"
    How come?

    Yes.

Many sites may be blocked because of its harmless ads and pop-ups. Also speeds up your internet surfing speed a lot on some sites.
