pentium vs. athlon

    I just want to know if both Pentium and Athlon were at the same speed for Ghz which one would perform better. Thanks

    I'm an Athlon fan so my opinion may be a little biased but if you got an Athlon to run at the same speed as a pentium it would be eating the Pentium for breakfast, just like Pacman.

    If it were a GHz to GHz comparison Intel would be handed it's ass on a platter with nothing for dessert.

    Except it isnt :p (good thing too) and never will be because it will be a long time before AMD chips implement a insanely-super-extreme-long-pipeline
