PHILIPS DVD+RW824 DON'T DETECT BLANK DVD

    WHEN I TRY TO BURN A DVD I PUT A BLANK DVD INTO THE DRIVE BUT ALSO NERO AND ROXIO TELL ME TO INSERT A BLANK DVD. I EVEN TRY TO CHANGE THE BRAND OF THE DVD BUT THE SAME HAPENS. HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS

    Lose the "CAP's" - they aren't permitted here.


    What media are you using ?

    Do you have the latest Firmware ?

    What is your burner set as -

    Are you running a 40 or 80--pin IDE cable ?

    i'm using Nero 6.3.0.6 and also Roxio both of them say " please insert a blank disk " When i put a blank dvd into the drive

    carkopke please tell us what kind of media you are using (brand, +r or -r or +/-rw). Make sure that your burner supports the media you are using.
