We have a 60" Phillips 60pp9401 hdtv and it is rarely ever turned off. A couple of months ago, we turned it off and it took it a while to come back on and we hadn't turned it off again until the other day. Now whenever you try to turn it on and push the power button, you can hear it click and the power light comes on for a second or two and then it just goes back off. Could it be possible that having it on so much could have caused a problem with constant heat somewhere? Any ideas of anything we can look into?

    TIA,
    Cyn

If it clicks it probably means its gone bad. You could try unplugging it for a day. TV's shouldn't be left on constantly, the heat will spoil it eventually. If its a DLP TV, then it could be that the bulb died. This can be replaced (under warranty) if your TV isn't that old.
