I had two or three out of 200 that I use for coffee cups, etc. That was last year and I haven't had any problems with any that burned.

I bought some last year from Circuit City for $4.99 a 25 pack, bought two, got several coasters, returned them, They are CMC-Mag disks. Stay with the Verbatim or TY disks. Just my recommendation.

There you go. I use Verbatims exclusively now due to recommendations like that and have had 0 problems. A lot of it comes down to, yeah, they may burn, but are they going to be any good a year or two down the road.
