when i use copy2dvd or alcohol 120% or nero etc..
they only give me speeds to write at 4x 6x 8x 12x on a 1-4x speed disc!
it does not give me 1x 2x 3x why ?
now surly it should not even let me burn at 6x 8x 12x on a 4x disc its impossble.
i had the 1.4 firmware and was getting no joy so i went to the pioneer site and updated the firmware but still no joy still only gives me 4x 6x 8x 12x .

    can u please help!

Which version of Nero you running (Latest version is 63120)
I'm running a Pioneer 108 with latest Nero and I have all speeds up to 16x
Does it show all speeds BEFORE you insert your media. The options will change depending on the media

I don't think the pioneer drive officially supports 3X. You are lucky you have the higher speeds. Myself and others are not able to select anything above 4X on an 8X disk.
