    Hello everyone,

If I was to buy a new DVD+-RW, what would you pick ?

    Plextor 109 or LG 4163B ?

I have the LG 4040B. Poped it in my old box, never ever had a problem with it.

Now I want to replace a BenQ DW1620 that is costing me alot in valium :)

I just want to get rid of it, and get a new drive that I will pop in, and no problems at all.

    I mostly use DVD-R and DVD+RW.

I heard Plextor had a SATA drive, is it worth the $$$ to get the SATA ?
Going to do some reading on that now.
But I am thankful for every comments...

First you want to compare Pioneer and Plextor and nor Pioneer and LG. Logically the next step should be Pioneer and NEC. Anyway, I like NEC, LG, and Pioneer in that order. They each do somethings better than the others and somethings not as well and they all burn top quality media very well. You need to decide what features are important.

LG is coming out with SATA drives as well in the third quarter. They add nothing in speed and take up a valuable connection I need for the hard drive.
