I was about to buy a Pioneer A08, but was told the
A08 has been discontinued because the A09 is out in January.

I cannot find any info on the A09 other than it is due
    out Summer 2005.

Can anyone confirm this. Is it worth waiting as the
A08 is an exellent Burner at £ 45.00.

    Thanks

    I actually fitted it myself.

No problems, so far. Seems to be working quite well
no coasters as yet. I had a Pioneer A05 before this
and that was fine for 2 years. I did have some
coasters then, but I think they were down to the
cheap discs I was using. I only use Ritek DVDR and DVDRW disks, and Intiniti CDR.
