I just purchased a PIONEER DVR-108 and this model is not on Ritek's G04 compatible burners list. Have any of you successfully burned a back-up a PS2 game using the mentioned items? It should work, right?

To my knowledge, Verbatim is the preferred brand of DVD+R disks people use to back up and play their PS2 games. However, the company that installed my mod chip (www.norcalmods.com) strictly recommends that I use Ritek G03 and/or G04 disks only. I have since then purchased Pioneer's DVR-108 and a set of Ritek Ridata G04s (both from Ebay) to help ensure the successful game play of my back-ups. Wish me luck!...(fingers crossed)
