I have a Pioneer DVR-110D. It will only burn with -R disks. It says it should do all types, DVD -R, +R, and both RW types. It will actually start burning with nero 6.0.0.0 but when it gets to the very end, I get a "could not perfrom disc at once write, burn failed". No probs with the -R's though. I have 5 coasters now, any ideas? I also have 7gb free on the HD with WinXP on a HP pavillion.

Could be the +R discs are not compatible w/ the Pioneer and/or you need a firmware update.

Some brands use different manufacturers so even if you buy the same brand of -R or +R media they can be made by different manufacturers.
Which are you using? Burn speed?

What's the firmware version you have now? In Nero go to ToolKit>Info Tool>drive tab. There's a field there for the version.

Nero can use an update to - use 6.6.0.18. Here's the links:
    Package 1
    Package 2 (recode & vision)
