One long day at work it somehow hit me that I'd like to use an old NES case for something.
Now all I need to know is the probability of this working.

What I want to do is make it a USB hard drive/Media Card reader.
Now my question is...could I get an enclosure and just use everything from that and move it into the nes making that the new enclosure...and what is the best way to add a media card reader to this box, will it have to be a usb?

I also thought about adding a couple usb ports into the front where the controller ports are, I'd also like to have the HDD led flash where the power led was on the box.

Any assistance on this crazy idea would be appreciated.

I'm no expert on this kind of stuff, but I am sure it can be done. Just open it up and rip all the stuff out lol
