Is it possible to play burned or backup 360 games without modding or flashing my console? Also, will playing these copies on my 360 get me banned if I play on Xbox LIVE?

I know that this topic has been covered quite a bit in the past but I cannot seem to find a newer thread regarding it. If there happens to be a newer thread regarding it, then please disregard my questions and possibly point me in the right direction.

    Thanks in advance!

no,your console must be modded/flashed in order to run backups. and yes you do run the
risk of being banned from xbox live.

Of course that is possible, but only with a Phat. Just burn the game on an idustrial diamond and place that into the memory card slot of your console. You need one diamond per game.

You know i wasnt going to say anything, but this is the dumbest thing i've heard on here in a long time, if it was possible to play backups without flashing or modding your system then why would anybody do it? why do the work to get the reward if you really dont have to? this makes no sense!

This question comes up every now and then, just search for the Banana Split Method, you'll know what I mean.

Ok, yeah it was a stupid question, so, thanks for the time to post answers anyway. I guess it's time to take apart my Xbox.

    Thanks again.
