I am haveing trouble playing an entire dvd on my xbox 360, it will get to scene 18 or so and not be able to read it. it only does this on some of my burned dvds and not during the original copy of the dvd

It's hard to know exactly what's causing the problem. Is scene 18 near the end of the disk? The problem may be related to the burn quality of the disk or the x-box 360 drive's ability to read.

    Burn quality is enhanced by:
    - using good quality media like Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden (available online), and Made in Japan labeled Fuji and Sony disks.
    - burning at half or less the rated speed of the media.
    - making sure your burner's firmware is kept up to date. Firmware can be found at the manufacturer's web support site or at firmware databases such as the following: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php
    - not multitasking during burning (shutting down unnecessary applications).
    - keeping your hard disk defragmented.
